DIRECTOR OF STUDIES IN OLD TESTAMENT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified people, lay and ordained, women and men, for this position.  The placement will be vacant from 1 July 2010 and the Queensland Synod will make an appointment as soon as possible thereafter.

Trinity Theological College is the Uniting Church in Australia’s theological college in Queensland with responsibility for training people for both ordained and lay  ministries. Ministry candidates undertake the academic elements of their program through Australian Catholic University while continuing their broader ministry formation through Trinity.
 
The person appointed will participate in the formation of students for a variety of ordained and lay ministries as well as in the teaching of courses through ACU  including the Bachelor of Theology, Graduate Certificates in Arts (Theology) and in Ministry, Graduate Diplomas in Arts (Theology), in Ministry and Masters of Arts (Theology).  An interdisciplinary approach in teaching is encouraged.  For further
