My good friend and colleague, Christiaan Mostert, is due to retire at the end of next year, 2012. So once again the search begins for a new colleague to join us on the Faculty here at the Centre for Theology and Ministry. Here are the details. Applications are invited for the position of

PROFESSOR OF SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY

The appointee will teach in the field of Systematic Theology (primarily within the United Faculty of Theology, an ecumenical Associated Teaching Institution of the MCD University of Divinity), participate in the formation of candidates for Uniting Church Ministries and offer theological leadership within the Synod. In doing so, the appointee will enable students to explore the theological foundations of the Christian faith as represented in the Uniting Church Basis of Union, to give a coherent account of Christian belief and to be able to integrate their learning and ministry practice.

Appointment effective from January 2013 for a period of 7 years.
